Community Counselling & Support Program

> With the assistance of our counselling team we can help provide women the support they require to move forward.
The purpose of this program is to provide crisis support and counselling to women living in violent and abusive situations in the community, and to those who have left abusive situations and can benefit from support in dealing with the effects of their trauma.
The Community Counsellor provides both one-to-one and group counselling to women who are living in the community, who are experiencing violence and abuse-related crises or coping with the trauma of abuse. The Community Counsellor will develop safety plans, identify options, available resources, and facilitate admission to the shelter if the woman so chooses.
